Hiring: Workshop Facilitator

Are you passionate about art, wellbeing, and helping others unlock their potential through creativity?

The Orenda Tribe is seeking a dynamic Workshop Facilitator to lead our unique workshops that blend neuroscience, wellbeing practices, and arts and crafts. Our workshops empower individuals of all ages to explore their inner world and cultivate greater well-being.

About the Role:

You will lead interactive workshops across various locations in Jordan, primarily based at our location in Amman, Al-Weibdeh. This is not your typical art teaching role; we integrate wellbeing into all our activities, creating a positive and inclusive learning environment for participants of all ages and backgrounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare engaging presentations and workbooks integrating neuroscience, wellbeing practices, and arts and crafts.
  • Write detailed and effective workshop outlines for facilitation.
  • Adapt workshop content for different age groups (children, teens, adults).
  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • Manage workshop logistics, including set-up, clean-up, and materials preparation.
  • Document new workshop details and refine the facilitation guide.
  • Train other employees on workshop facilitation methods.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of existing workshops.
  • Travel to different workshop locations as needed.
  • Support store operations when not facilitating workshops, including organizing art supplies and assisting customers.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in teaching or workshop facilitation.
  • Undergraduate degree in psychology, neuroscience, visual arts, or a wellbeing-related field.
  • Strong experience and passion for arts and crafts.
  • Fluency in both English and Arabic.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
  • Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Enthusiasm for retail and a willingness to learn about our art supplies and products.
  • Experience training others is a plus.

Working Hours:

  • Expect to work on weekends (Friday and Saturday), our busiest days.
  • Days Off: One and a half days off weekly.
  • 8-hour workdays.

If you are a passionate and creative individual with a desire to empower others through the power of neuroscience, wellbeing practices, and arts and crafts, we encourage you to apply by sending your CV & Cover Letter to tina@theorendatribe.com
