This year-long initiative, empowered Jordanian students to become change agents in addressing water scarcity through educational sessions, art activities, and the creation of a children's story, reaching children across public and private schools.
The Orenda Tribe partnered with BORDA-WESCA to educate public school students in Azraq, Jordan, about the local water crisis. Through workshops, students learned about the significant ecological changes in Azraq due to over-extraction and explored potential solutions.
Save the Children, in collaboration with UN ESCWA and UNFPA, engaged over 8,000 children across the Middle East and North Africa to gather their views on climate change and economic inequality. We designed a booklet to amplify these voices, supporting youth participation in climate action and decision-making.
